Prince-Archbishop’s Residence
The Prince-Archbishop’s Residence has been the seat of the Salzburg archbishops since 1120. Directly in the middle of the city, the splendid rooms served, and still do, as state rooms for the Land of Salzburg. Among other things, the place is eagerly used for state- or festival receptions. The halls of the residence also provide for concerts – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played there regularly.
